Fairgoer Caught Tackling Political Sign

FRANKLINTON, La. – A video was released by the Franklinton Police Department (FPD) of someone tackling a political sign on the fairgrounds last night.

“I just can’t with some of y’all,” said FPD Chief Justin Brown in a Facebook post detailing the property damage. “Unfortunately for him and his merry band of fairgoers, the heinous crime was caught on camera.”

During the incident, the culprit dropped his phone, which was unlocked. Officers can access his social media accounts, including Facebook, Snapchat, and Instagram. They even found a picture of his driver’s license.

“We’ll plug it in for ya to keep a little juicy juice on it till you can make time to come visit,” said Chief Brown. “Enjoy the Fair ole son, you earned it.”
