On Sunday, Oct. 6, the Franklinton Police Department was contacted regarding a suspected death in the 1400 block of Parker Street.

Upon officers arrival, the body of 67-year-old Frankie L. Crosby Sr. was located in his vehicle. Northshore Ambulance was contacted along with the Washington Parish Coroner’s Office. Crosby was officially pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Franklinton Police Department, in conjunction with the Louisiana State Police Crime Lab and Investigations Division, processed the crime scene.

At this time, no evidence or information has been recovered which would lead investigators to believe foul play was involved.

Additional information will be released pending the completion of an autopsy and toxicology report.
