Bowling Green splits games with Parklane, Centreville

Bowling Green School’s boys basketball team split games with Parklane Academy and Centreville Academy in contests held on Nov. 17 and 18.
The game on Nov. 17 was a 44-27 loss to Parklane Academy at home.
Zeke Burford topped Bowling Green with seven points to go with two rebounds.
Hunter Thomas posted six points, four rebounds, a block and a steal.
Preston Jarrell had five points that included a 3-pointer, a rebound, an assist, a block and a steal.
Nate Keen recorded three points on a 3-pointer.
Dray Killingsworth tallied two points, two rebounds and an assist.
Robert Watson had two points and a steal.
Camrin Seal put up two points and two rebounds.
Weston Bush pulled down two rebounds, dished out an assist and blocked a shot, while Christian Williams blocked a shot.
Things went much better for the Buccaneers on Nov. 18, as they defeated Centreville Academy, 58-21, at home.
Thomas posted 13 points and made half of his 12 shots to go with six rebounds and two blocks.
Burford posted eight points that included a 3-pointer, seven rebounds, an assist, a block and three steals.
Watson scored seven points on 3-of-5 from the field that included a 3-pointer along with a rebound and an assist.
Williams tallied seven points that included a 3-pointer with a rebound and a steal.
Bush put up five points that included a 3-pointer, a rebound and three steals.
Jarrell had five points that included a 3-pointer with an assist and a steal.
Killingsworth posted four points, seven boards and two assists.
Tucker Pittman had four points and a rebound.
Wyatt Phelps put up three points along with a steal.
Seal made a steal.
Bowling Green School’s next game will be on Dec. 1 at home against Lamar Christian School.
