Pine Powerlifters Place at LHSPLA South Regional Meet

FRANKLINTON, La. – In an impressive display of strength and determination, Pine High School’s powerlifting team made their mark at the Louisiana High School Powerlifting Association (LHSPLA) South Regional Meet held at Covington High School. The team’s impressive performance was highlighted by Kole Miller, who earned 5th place with a total lift of 1,125 pounds, showcasing his standout abilities.

Not far behind, AJ Caillouet demonstrated his lifting prowess by securing 7th place with a 625-pound lift. These accomplishments at such a competitive event have positioned both Miller and Caillouet as potential qualifiers for the State-level competition. This prospect has sparked excitement and pride within Pine High School community and powerlifting fans within the Washington Parish community.
