Robert Patrick “Big Pat” Penton Jr. was born Aug. 16, 1989, and died July 11, 2015, at the age of 25.
He is survived by his father, Robert Patrick “Dirty Red” Penton Sr.; his only son, Dakoda Stafford; girlfriend, Casey Stafford; two special nephews, Hadyn Ryan and Pacyn Ray Breeland; stepmother, Robbie Anne Bonnette Penton; two stepsisters, Cheyenne and Alexis Swing; two sisters, Amber and Miranda Meaux; special sisters, Imari Amand Dunn; special cousin, Darrell Meaux; grandmother, Laura Nell Penton; aunt, Kippy Sommers; cousins, Tabitha and April Hunt; godfather, Brian Keith Jackson; longtime friends, Brian Powell and Chris Hunt; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Cora Jean Knight; great-grandparents, Chess and Gladys McNeese; great-grandparents, Ester and Donia Penton; and grandfather, Robert E. Penton.
Services will be held at Petit Memorial Baptist Church on Saturday, July 25, 2015, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
