Tammy Booth Bourgoyne, 61, a loving wife, mother, Mimi, and friend was called home to be with the Lord on April 6, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was home and surrounded by her family and friends. Though

Tammy will truly be missed in this world, her loved ones are at peace knowing she lived her life to the fullest and has been healed by Jesus Christ.

Tammy enjoyed camping, fishing, quilting, sewing, entertaining, and crafting. Always the prankster, she loved to laugh and joke with her loved ones. Her laugh was contagious and her sense of humor infectious. To know her was to love her. Nothing could make Tammy light up more than seeing the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, John Bourgoyne; two children, Meagan Bourgoyne Burt (Scott) and Brandon Bourgoyne (Brittany); her loving grandchildren, Braxten, Conner, Carlyscott, Cade, Hadleigh, Airabella, Annabelle, Hazel, and RemiKate. She is also survived by her parents Ellis James Booth and Barbra Lee Booth of Denham Springs, La.; one sister, Donna Booth Lockhart (Mike); a special aunt, Bobbie May (Gerald); and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved as her own.

Tammy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Odell and Norman Henry, Cordie and Ellis Booth; and her brother, Randy Booth.
