Several Bowling Green School and Ben’s Ford Christian School girls basketball players are all-district players this year in 4-3A.

Five Bowling Green players are on the first team.

Bailey Devall, Macey Jones, Allie McCain, Kyley Seals and KaKa Seal are on the top team.

This season, Devall averaged 7.1 points per game along with 3.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 2.4 steals.

Jones posted 10.9 points to go with four rebounds and a steal per game.

McCain recorded 5.5 points a game along with three boards, 1.6 assists and 1.2 steals a contest.

Seals posted 8.5 points a contest to go with 4.1 boards, a pair of assists and 2.9 steals.

Seal put up 4.6 points, 1.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 2.3 steals a game.

In addition to all-district, Seals was an all-tournament in South State and Class 3A Tournament, she made the all-star team and was All-MAIS in Class 3A. Devall and Seal were All-South State Tournament players and Devall made the All-Class 3A Tournament Team.

Three more Lady Buccaneers are second-team players.

Anna Claire Crowe, Hope Crowe and Bridget Devall are second-team all-district players.

Anna Claire Crowe had 1.9 points a game along with 1.1 boards, 1.7 assists and a steal per game.

Hope Crowe averaged 7.5 points per game, 1.6 rebounds and 1.5 steals a contest.

Devall recorded 3.6 points per contest to go with 1.5 boards.

This season, Bowling Green was the regular season district and league tournament champion. Bowling Green was runner up in the South State Tournament after a 47-38 loss to Clinton Christian Academy in the title game. Bowling Green came in third at the Class 3A Tournament. The Lady Buccaneers were defeated by Hartfield Academy, 53-35, in the first round of the Overall Tournament. Hartfield lost to Jackson Prep in the semifinals, 42-37.

Switching to Ben’s Ford Christian School, Kelci Freeman, Alaina McClelland and Bailey Stewart are all-district players.

This season, Freeman averaged 12.3 points per game.

McClelland posted 8.4 points a contest.

Stewart recorded 5.1 points per game.

This season, Ben’s Ford posted a 20-14 record. The 20 wins were the most they had for a season in the program’s history, surpassing their previous record of 18 that was last year.

Ben’s Ford was the fifth-seeded team in the district tournament, but lost to Amite School Center, 37-26 in the first round. Amite School Center reached the South State Tournament, but lost to Clinton Christian Academy, 48-33, in the first round.
