Eric Lionel Tucker, 71, a resident of New Orleans, passed away Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015, at Kindred Hospital in New Orleans.

Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 18, from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Gideon Christian Fellowship International, 3401 Elysian Fields Ave., in New Orleans.

A lie in state will be Saturday from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m., with the funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. at Dillard University Lawless Memorial Chapel, 2601 Gentilly Blvd., in New Orleans.

Interment will be held Monday, Sept. 21, at the Southeastern Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Slidell.
