Patsy Carrol Wilkinson Bloomquist, 67, born April 2, 1945, a resident of Mandeville and native of Franklinton, died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012 at 4:20 p.m. at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Mandeville.

She was a 1963 graduate of Franklinton High School and attended Louisiana College. She loved her family, gardening and her animals.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Alan Bloomquist of Mandeville; two sons, Mathew Blain Stewart and Patrick Winston Stewart, both of Mandeville; two grandchildren, Wylie Leonard and Maela Leonard; her mother, Frances Knight of Franklinton; and a sister and brother-in-law, Martha Knight and Gary Elliott of Ridgway, Colo.

She was preceded in death by her father, Patrick Wilkinson, and stepfather, Dr. Wilmer W. Knight.

Visitation will be held Sunday, Aug. 19 at Crain Funeral Home beginning at 1 p.m., with a memorial service to be held at 2 p.m. in the chapel, with Rev. Andrew Voss officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to St. Tammany Parish Animal Service, 31078 Highway 36, Lacombe, LA 70445.
