Anna Louise Taylor passed away peacefully Monday, April 7, 2014, in Houston. Born in Bogalusa on Oct. 17, 1958, she was employed as a medical assistant.

She is survived by two daughters, Kristen Taylor (Alverto Vasquez) of Conroe, Texas, and Brandi (Corey) Milliff of Montgomery, Texas; two sisters, Sheila (Clinton) Miley of Bogalusa and Linda (John) Ledbetter of Jackson, Miss.; eight grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Her parents, Victor “Vic” and Helen Edwards, and two sisters, Kimberly Sue Thomas and Vickie Nadine Melton, preceded her in death.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 11, at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home, from 5-9 p.m. Visitation will resume on Saturday from 8 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Chris McClelland officiating. Interment will follow in the Pounds Cemetery.
