Elisha Blake Hedden, 26, a resident of Enon, died Monday, Sept. 29, 2014, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born Aug. 28, 1988, in Atlanta. He was the son of the Rev. David and Cindy Floyd Hedden of Enon.

He was a graduate of Margaret Garrison Academy in Bogalusa and Southwest Mississippi Community College.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joe and Ellen Floyd.

He is survived by his parents; his paternal grandparents, Leonard Ford Hedden and Jane Garrison Hedden of Robertsdale, Ala.; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Joseph and Stephanie Hedden of Silverhill, Ala., Charlton and Haley Hedden of Brandon, Miss., Benjamin and Leah Hedden of Loxley, Ala., and Ethan Hedden of Enon; his sister, Maria Hedden of Birmingham, Ala.; his niece, Abbie Hedden and nephew, Drew Hedden, of Silverhill; his girlfriend, Sarah Szopinski of Summit; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation is Wednesday, Oct. 1, at Enon Baptist Church from 3 p.m. until services at 6 p.m., with the Rev. Gary Dennis officiating. Sharkey Funeral Home in Summit is in charge of the services. Burial will be in Robertsdale, Ala.

Memorials may be sent to Disaster Relief Fund at Enon Baptist Church or Walthall Baptist Association.
