Mrs. Dorothy Hewitt Speights, age 69, passed away at Resthaven Living Center on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014. She was a resident of Bogalusa.

She is survived by her husband, Mr. Bobby Speights of Bogalusa; one daughter, Tammy Speights; one son, Darren and his wife Roxanne Speights; and three grandchildren, Noah McLain, Camryn Speights and Caleb McLain.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alton and Dorothy Hewitt.

Visitation was Monday, Sept. 22, 2014, beginning at 9 a.m. until the service time of 11 a.m., all at First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Bob Adams and the Rev. Greg Whaley officiating. Interment followed at 3 p.m. in Bassfield Cemetery, Bassfield, Miss
