Lawrence “Peanut” Wilson Jr., 28, of Picayune, Miss., died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014, in Varnado. He was the son of Donna Burnett and Lawrence Wilson Sr.

On April 27, 2007, he became the proud father of Charles Wilson — his loving son. On Nov. 14, 2012, he was joined in marriage to KyeAngela Porter. In his spare time he enjoyed watching movies, cooking and spending time with his family.

Lawrence leaves to cherish his memories his wife, KyeAngela Porter Wilson; son, Charles Wilson; parents, Donna Burnett and Lawrence Wilson Sr.; four sisters, Alexis Burnett, Brittany Wilson, Kimberly Wilson and Tonicia Wilson; and his grandfather, Nathaniel Burnett

He was preceded in death by his loving grandmother, Helen Burnett.

The visitation will be noon on Monday, Dec. 15, 2014, at Crain & Sons Funeral Home, with the funeral to follow at 1:00 p.m. Elder Donald Ray Hart will be officiating the service. The interment will be held at Burnett Cemetery in Henleyfield, Miss.
