Angie Little League Football
Angie Little League Football will be holding registration on June 17 from 9 a.m. until noon at the Pride and Hope Ministry located at 25502 Highway 21 in Varnado next to Varnado High School.
Signups are open to football players and cheerleaders ages 5-12 as of Aug. 1, 2023. Please bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate on the day of registration if this will be his or hers first time playing football with the league.
The fee is $40 per player and $25 per cheerleader.

Sports Work Academy is June 17
The 16th annual Sports Work Academy Basketball Camp will be held on June 17 at the Bogalusa YMCA.
Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. and the camp fee is $20. The camp starts at 9 a.m.
So far, this year’s guest coach is O’Brian Callahan, who owns the organization called Only Basketball Elite. There may be coaches and speakers added before the day of the camp.
The rest of the coaches are 1981 Bogalusa High School graduate Murrell Galloway and co-Camp Director Nikita Wilson.

Jaron Edwards Basketball Camp
The fifth annual Jaron Edwards Basketball Camp will take place July 10-14 at Bowling Green School.
The clinic will run from 9 a.m. until noon.
The deadline to signup is June 17.
The camp is for boys and girls entering third through eighth grade.
Registration that includes the participants’ name, payment, shirt size and grade for next year can be dropped off at the Bowling Green School office.

TCB Track Club
The TCB Track Club is holding registration for children ages 8-18.
This is the first year of the track club, which is based in Bogalusa and Mississippi.
