Mrs. Rose Corrente was born on Feb. 13, 1938, to Armand and Marie Picard.

 

A resident of Bogalusa, La., passed away on May 24, 2023, surrounded by her family at the age of 85.

 

Rose Marie (Picard) Corrente, a longtime resident of the Bogalusa passed away Wednesday morning May 24, 2023, at her home surrounded by her surviving family.

She is survived by sisters, Frankie and Dottie as well as her children David, (Melanie) Heindel, Frank (Mildred) Williams, John (Andrea) Williams, and Jim Williams.  Also survived by her grandchildren David Wayne, Dustin, Chelsea, Marinea (Jeremiah) and Zachary (Mary) Heindel, Charmaine (Lucas) Schmermund, Evan Williams, Heather Castleberry (Mitchell), Rebekka (Chris) Strahan, Shawn (Ivonne) Williams and Katelyn Williams.  She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Kyle, Savannah, Jenna Dee and Bentley Heindel, Parker and Reagan Schmermund, Makayla Bennett, Makinsley and Myles Castleberry, Jackson, James and Jacob Strahan, Alexander, Nathaniel and Anthony Williams.  And great-great grandchildren, Jerzey and Karter Martin.

 

Rose is preceded in death by her husband Charles Corrente, Sr., Camille Corrente and Charles (Chuck) Corrente, Jr. and brother Ralph Picard.

 

A private vigil was held by her family upon her passing.
