Bowling Green School’s Zeke Burford made the podium, as he came in fifth place at the Class 5A Overall Meet that took place on May 5 at Jackson Academy.
Burford tied for fourth in the long jump with a distance of 19 feet, 9.5 inches, but lost in the tiebreaker, which is their best jump. Bayou Academy’s John Howard Gilbert won the title with a jump of 21-1.75.
