Two local softball teams have made the state playoffs.

Pine and Franklinton are headed to the postseason.

In Division III, No. 16 Pine, who has an 11-7 record, will host Berwick (10-12) on April 17 at 5:30 p.m. The winner faces top seeded Sterlington (28-6).

In Division II, No. 21 Franklinton (12-11) is heading to 12th-seeded Minden (19-11) with a 4 p.m. contest on April 17. The winner plays against fifth-seeded Brusly (27-6).
