Pine’s baseball team captured a 3-1 victory over Albany in a District 7-3A game that was held on Tuesday at home.

Pine scored two runs in the sixth inning to break a 1-1 tie.

Luke Spears tripled, drove in two runs and scored a run.

Brody Thomas singled and scored a run.

C.J. Cobon scored a run.

Thomas allowed one run on four hits with 11 strikeouts and three walks over 6.2 innings.

Trindon Young collected the save after a scoreless 0.1 innings.

Pine’s next game will be on April 13 against Albany on the road.
