Franklinton’s softball team was defeated by Slidell, 3-2, in eight innings in a home game that was on Monday.

Skylar Branch went 2-for-4 with a run scored.

Karlie Lord singled and drove in a run.

Amaya Robertson singled.

Caylin Turnage scored a run.

Branch pitched all eight innings, allowing no earned runs on five hits with 11 strikeouts and two walks.

Franklinton’s next game will be on April 4 against Lakeshore on the road.
