Pine’s softball team defeated Loranger, 9-7, in a game that was held on Monday at home.

Pine trailed 7-0 after the first inning, but rallied back with two in the second, six in the third and another in the fourth for the win.

Alyssa Phelps posted a hit with three runs batted in and a run scored.

Kirbee Magee tallied two hits and an RBI.

Dillon Sumrall singled twice, drove in two runs and scored a run.

Bailey Brooks had a hit and scored three runs.

Bailey Dunn posted a hit and a run scored.

Addyson Phelps recorded a hit.

Lily Crain scored two runs, while Kori Sumrall tallied one.

Pine’s next game will be on March 28 against Franklinton on the road.
