Franklinton’s softball team was defeated by Northshore and St. Thomas Aquinas in the Ponchatoula Tournament that took place on March 18.

The game against St. Thomas Aquinas was 19-17.

Caylin Turnage posted two hits that included a triple with two runs batted in and two runs scored.

Rayanna Schilling singled twice with two RBIs and two runs scored.

Kaydan Ard singled, scored four runs and drove one home.

Aayah Faour had a hit with three runs scored and a run batted in.

Amaya Robertson posted a hit, two runs batted in and two runs scored.

Annsley Brown scored a run and drove one home, while Karlie Lord, Audrey Carter and Shyanne Burris all scored a run.

The game against Northshore was a 20-0 loss in three innings.

Franklinton’s next game is March 21 against Archbishop Hannan at home.
