Varnado’s baseball team went 1-1 in games against Amite and Ecole Classique that were held on Monday and Tuesday.

The game against Amite was a 15-5 victory in a game at Pine.

Jyren Smith tripled.

Collin Lozier had two hits and three runs batted in.

The game against Ecole Classique was an 18-2 loss on the road Tuesday in a District 10-1A contest.

Will Boyette, Collin Lozier and Smith all had a hit.

Varnado’s next game is on March 16 against Mt. Hermon School on the road.
