Franklinton defeated St. Scholastica Academy, 6-5, at home on Wednesday in a game that went down to the final pitch.

The Lady Demons trailed 5-3 going into the bottom of the seventh, but put up three runs in the frame that was capped off by Shyanne Burris reaching on an error that plated Rayanna Schilling.

For the game, Schilling doubled, drove in a run and scored a run.

Skylar Branch doubled with an RBI and two runs scored.

Caylin Turnage doubled and scored a run.

Karlie Lord singled and scored a run.

Kaydan Ard singled.

Aayah Faour scored two runs, while Burris drove in a run.

Franklinton’s next game is in the Ponchatoula Tournament on March 17-18.
