Pine’s softball team was defeated St. Scholastica Academy and Pearl River in games that were held on March 6 and 9.

The game against St. Scholastica Academy was an 8-7 win on March 6 at home after Pine scored four runs in both the sixth and seventh innings for the victory after trailing 6-0 through five innings.

Addyson Phelps went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and a run batted in.

Dillon Sumrall posted two hits, two RBIs and two runs scored.

Alyssa Phelps tallied a hit and two runs scored.

Kori Sumrall and Kirbee Magee both had a hit, a run driven in and a run scored.

Bailey Dunn, Katie Crain, Madyson Dunn and Lily Crain all posted a hit.

Bailey Brooks scored a run.

The game against Pearl River was 13-3 in five innings.

Pine scored nine runs in the third inning to take an 11-3 lead after Pearl River scored three in the top of the third to go up 3-2.
