The reigning National Champion Pearl River baseball team is inviting all former Wildcats out for Alumni Day on April 1 in conjunction with the No. 1 Wildcats’ doubleheader against Holmes.
“Alumni day is an exciting day for everyone involved,” Pearl River coach Michael Avalon said. “Personally, I look forward to seeing past players, visiting with them, and hearing stories of their time at The River. Over the years, I have noticed from the alumni that return, they are always excited to be back home and see how things have changed and progressed. We look forward to seeing everyone at The Dub.”
The festivities will get started at 9:30 a.m. with a meet and greet brunch to be followed by batting practice and a home run derby at Dub Herring Park from 10-11:30 a.m.
At 12 p.m., PRCC will take batting practice while the alumni will be served crawfish.
Any former Wildcats who are interested in participating should visit PRCCAthletics.com/Tickets to register. The cost is $30 and includes a t-shirt.
