Pine’s boys basketball team defeated Albany and Pearl River in games that were held on Friday and Monday.

Friday’s game was a 69-43 victory over Albany in a road game in District 7-3A competition.

Zach Thomas scored 21 points to lead Pine.

Kendall Fountain was next with 15.

Luke Spears posted 13.

Isaac Barber tallied six.

Noah Barber recorded five that included a 3-pointer.

D.J. Garrett logged four.

Ahvon Johnson had three.

Blaise Seal posted two.

Monday’s contest was a 72-64 win over Pearl River in non-district action at home, as Thomas scored 25 points to lead Pine.

Spears posted 17 that included two 3-pointers.

Fountain tallied 16 that included four 3-pointers.

Johnson had seven.

Martin logged five that included a 3-pointer.

Garrett posted two.

Pine’s next game will be against Jewel Sumner on Feb. 7 on the road.
