Bowling Green girls go 1-1 in games on Jan. 17, 19

Bowling Green School’s girls basketball team went 1-1 in games that were held on Jan. 17 and 19.
The game on Jan. 17 was a 46-21 loss to Brookhaven Academy on the road.
Claire Wascom posted six points that included a 3-pointer with three rebounds and two steals.
Chloe Bertrand, Bailey Devall and Joey Dupoint both scored three points.
Bertrand pulled down eight rebounds, dished out an assist and made two steals. Devall made a 3-pointer, grabbed four rebounds, dished out an assist and made three steals. Dupont made a 3-pointer, grabbed a rebound and made a steal.
Kylee Seal, Claire Varnado and Lanah Martinez all had two points and a rebound.
Peyton Dupuy grabbed two rebounds and made a steal, while Lydia Tullos tallied a steal, Kenli Reid pulled down three rebounds, had an assist and a steal.
Bowling Green defeated Oak Forest Academy, 33-15 at home on Jan. 19.
Bertrand scored 12 points to lead Bowling Green. She made a 3-pointer, pulled down a rebound and made five steals.
Devall tallied six points, five boards, an assist, a steal and a blocked shot.
Varnado posted five points and a rebound.
Dupuy had three points on a 3-pointer with an assist and two steals.
Wascom recorded three points on a 3-pointer, a rebound, three assists and a steal.
Reid posted two points, eight rebounds, an assist and three steals.
Martinez had two points and a steal.
Bowling Green’s next game will be on Jan. 23 against Centerville Academy on the road.
