Bowling Green goes 3-0 in recent games

Bowling Green School’s girls basketball team won all three of their games that were held on Jan. 3, Friday and Saturday.
On Jan. 3, Bowling Green defeated Oak Forest Academy, 42-29, in a road game.
Bailey Devall posted a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Devall made two 3-pointers, dished out an assist and made three steals.
Chloe Betrand posted 14 points on 6-of-11 from the field that included a 3-pointer, three rebounds and two assists.
Peyton Dupuy recorded five points that included a 3-pointer, three rebounds, two assists, four steals and a blocked shot.
Kenli Reid scored three points on a 3-pointer with two assists and two steals.
Claire Wascom posted two points, two boards, an assist and two steals.
Claire Varnado tallied two points and two blocked shots.
Lanah Martinez had two rebounds and an assist.
On Friday, Bowling Green topped Columbia Academy, 33-30, on the road..
Devall led Bowling Green once again, this time, going for 15 points on 6-of-8 from the field and she made all three of her 3-point attempts. Devall tallied two rebounds, an assist and four steals.
Bertrand put up 11 points that included a 3-pointer, to go with two boards and two assists.
Reid had four points, a rebound, an assist and a steal.
Wascom posted three points on a 3-pointer with four boards, an assist and two steals.
Dupuy had a rebound, an assist, three steals and a blocked shot.
Bowling Green won again on Saturday with a 45-23 win over Lamar Christian School on the road.
Bertrand was Bowling Green’s points leader with 15 on 6-of-10 from the floor and 2-of-3 from beyond the arc. Betrand pulled down three rebounds, dished out an assist and made a steal.
Devall tallied 10 points on 4-of-7 field goals that included a 3-pointer with three rebounds and two assists.
Reid recorded six points, nine rebounds and three assists.
Dupuy had five points that included a 3-pointer with an assist, a steal and a blocked shot.
Kylee Creel tallied four points and four rebounds.
Berkeley Goings had two points.
Wascom posted two points, two rebounds, four steals and two blocked shots.
Lydia Tullos had a point and four rebounds.
Martinez had two rebounds, while Varnado recorded a rebound and Joey Dupont had two assists and a steal.
Bowling Green’s next game is Jan. 10 against Silliman Institute at home.
