Franklinton’s girls basketball team came up short against Jewel Sumner, 40-37, in an overtime game on the road on Tuesday.
Jusiya McClain led Franklinton with 12 points.
Aviya Brown posted 11 that included a 3-pointer.
Jazirya Roberts recorded 10 and she made a 3-pointer.
Alyssa Bickham and McKaylah Martin both tallied two.
Franklinton’s next game will be on Dec. 19 against Christ Episcopal School at home.
