University of Louisiana at Lafayette linebacker Andre Jones is a second-team all-Sun Belt Conference player.
This season, Jones, who is a 2017 Varnado graduate, played in all 12 regular season games for the Ragin’ Cajuns. Jones, who is a redshirt senior, was sixth on the team in tackles with 51. He also had 8.5 stops for loss and 7.5 sacks. Jones intercepted a pass, broke up a pass, hurried the quarterback twice and forced a fumble.
The University of Louisiana at Lafayette went 6-6 overall and 4-4 in conference in the regular season.
