Lady Bucs win both games last week

Bowling Green School’s girls basketball team was victorious in both of its games held on Nov. 17 and Nov. 18.
On Nov. 17, Bowling Green defeated Parklane Academy, 60-53 at home, as Chloe Bertrand had a great game for the Lady Buccaneers.
Bertrand scored 25 points on 10-of-19 from the field that included two 3-pointers to go with three rebounds, three assists and four steals.
Kenli Reid posted 13 points. She made all six of her shots that included a 3-pointer. Reid grabbed six rebounds and made three steals.
Bailey Devall filled up the statsheet, posting nine points on 4-of-8 shooting to go with seven boards, seven assists, two blocks and a steal.
Peyton Dupuy posted five points that included a 3-pointer along with a rebound, an assist and three steals.
Lanah Martinez had four points, three rebounds and an assist.
Joey Dupont recorded three points on a 3-pointer with a rebound and an assist.
Lydia Tullos put up a point for Bowling Green.
Kylee Creel dished out an assist and made a steal.
The next day was a 59-10 victory over Centreville Academy.
Devall led Bowling Green in points with 13 on 4-of-6 from the field. Devall missed a double-double by just a rebound, as she pulled down nine. Devall had an assist, two blocks and three steals.
Martinez posted 11 points on 5-of-7 shooting that included a 3-pointer along with two rebounds and a steal.
Bertrand logged 10 points on 4-of-6 from the field that included a 3-pointer along with three rebounds, an assist and two steals.
Claire Varnado recorded eight points, five boards and three steals.
Berkeley Goings tallied five points, a rebound and an assist.
Tullos had four points, five rebounds, an assist and two blocks.
Creel posted three points on a 3-pointer with a rebound and two steals.
Dupont scored three points, pulled down four rebounds, dished out an assist and made two steals.
Reid posted two points, five rebounds and two steals.
Dupuy dished out five assists and made four steals.
Bowling Green School’s next game will be on Dec. 1 against Lamar Christian School at home.
