Bowling Green boys basketball team defeated by Jackson Academy

Bowling Green School’s boys basketball team was defeated by Jackson Academy, 82-30, to start the 2022-23 basketball season on the road Saturday.
Hunter Thomas scored nine points to lead the Buccaneers that included a 3-pointer. Thomas was 4-of-6 from the floor. Thomas grabbed three rebounds.
Preston Jarrell posted seven points and he made a 3-pointer. Jarrell pulled down two boards, dished out an assist and made a steal.
Weston Bush had five points that included a 3-pointer with one rebound.
Dray Killingsworth scored three points on a 3-pointer to go with four boards, two assists and a steal.
Zeke Burford tallied two points.
Tucker Pittman and Camrin Seal both had two points, a rebound and a steal.
Bowling Green School’s next game will be on Nov. 14 against Simpson Academy on the road.
