Lady Bucs win against Jackson Academy in 2022-23 season opener

Bowling Green School’s girls’ basketball team topped Jackson Academy, 39-36, to start the 2022-23 season on the road on Saturday.
Chloe Bertrand scored 18 points to lead the Lady Buccaneers. Bertrand made seven of her 14 field-goal attempts. Bertrand made five steals, grabbed three rebounds and dished out two assists.
Peyton Dupuy tallied 10 points on 4-of-8 from the field and 2-of-4 from 3-point range. Dupuy had two rebounds and two steals.
Bailey Devall posted four points, one rebound and four steals.
Lanah Martinez recorded three points and eight rebounds.
Joey Dupont tallied three points that included a 3-pointer with a rebound.
Kenli Reid had one point, nine boards, two assists and a blocked shot.
Berkeley Goings pulled down two rebounds.
Bowling Green School’s next game will be on Nov. 14 against Simpson Academy on the road.
