Curley V. Murphy departed this life on Oct. 19, 2022, at the Good Samaritans Nursing Home in Franklinton, at the age of 84.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife of 54 years, Ora Murphy; one son, Julian C. Murphy I; one stepson, Douglas (Tammy) Allen; one brother, Willie (Bennie) Murphy Jr.; and a niece that he raised as his own, Valerine Conerly; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

There will be a drive through viewing Tuesday, Oct. 25, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home, located at 809 E. Third St. Bogalusa.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, Oct. 26, at 11 a.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa.
