The 18th annual YMCA Golf Classic will be on Oct. 15.

The event was originally scheduled for Aug. 27, but was postponed because of weather.

“This is our 18th annual tournament,” YMCA CEO Toni St.Philip said. “I’ve personally been involved in this for 12 years. It’s our biggest fundraiser of the year. This is very important to helping us provide the programs we provide here at the ‘Y.’ I would like to thank those who have sponsored our tournament throughout the years.”

The tournament will take place at the Bogalusa Country Club.

Registration will start at 8 a.m. with tee time set for 9 a.m. and lunch at 11 a.m.

The cost for the two-person scramble is $100 per golfer.

The cost includes cart, green fees, mulligans and lunch. Participants are asked to bring their own cart if they have one.
