Franklinton competed in the 2022 St. Thomas Aquinas-Southland Steel Invitational Meet on Sept. 24.
Five runners competed for the Demons.
Andrew Crain was Franklinton’s top runner, as he finished the three-mile race in 19 minutes, 55 seconds, which was 58th.
Jacob Crain came in 70th with a time of 21:02.
Kolby Robertson ran 87th in 23:03.
Andrew Fitzmorris was 89th at 23:04.
Blake Pickering was 95th at 24:35.
Fontainebleau’s Benjamin Lewis won the event in 15:48.
St. Michael the Archangel teammates Cooper Bankston and William Nizzo were second and third with times of 16:28 and 16:29.
St. Paul’s School teammates Dominic Muguira and Henry Englehardt came in fourth and fifth at 16:37 and 16:38 in the field of 99.
St. Michael the Archangel won the meet with 33 points with 12 teams posting points.
Parkview Baptist was second with 53, followed by St. Paul’s School’s 82, Ponchatoula’s 108 and Metairie Park Country Day’s 158 to round out the top five.
Franklinton came in 12th with 306.
