Pine won one of three games that were held on Sept. 8, Tuesday and Thursday.
On Sept. 8, Pine was defeated by Hammond, 25-10, 25-23, 25-15, on the road.
Samantha Thomas recorded six kills and five blocks.
Katie Crain posted four kills.
Cameron Magee tallied three kills and a dig.
Addi Nobles and Abbi Schilling both had two aces and a dig.
The contest against First Baptist Christian School was a 23-25, 16-25, 25-16, 25-19, 15-5 setback at home.
Crain downed 15 kills, two aces and a dig.
Thomas tallied 11 kills, five blocks and five aces.
Magee had three kills and an ace.
Gabby Ladner posted six digs and an ace.
Nobles recorded three aces and three digs.
Schilling had four digs and two aces.
Tuesday’s game was a 26-24, 25-19, 25-13 win on the road against Franklinton.
Thomas posted 12 kills and two aces.
Crain tallied seven kills, three aces and a block.
Mia Strahan had four kills.
Nobles served an ace, downed a kill and blocked a shot.
Ladner posted four aces and two kills.
Magee had an ace and two kills.
Schilling recorded six aces.
Arminee Magee posted a dig.
On Wednesday, Franklinton was defeated in five games by Christ Episcopal School on the road in a close match.
The scores were 25-20, 26-24, 22-25, 29-27, 15-13.
Pine’s next match will be on Tuesday against Varnado at home, while Franklinton will be back in action on Tuesday against Amite on the road.
