Bowling Green School is at home this week, going against Wayne Academy in a District 4A4 contest on Friday at 7 p.m.

Bowling Green was defeated by Brookhaven Academy last week, 28-7, in the league opener, which made the Buccaneers 1-2 overall.

In last week’s game, Josiah Miller ran for 167 yards on 15 carries and a touchdown.

Kyron Cowart rushed for 55 yards on 10 attempts.

As a team, Bowling Green ran for 257 yards on 39 carries.

Wayne Academy comes in with a 1-1 record and is playing its first district game.

Wayne had a bye last week and was defeated in its previous game, 50-7, by Simpson Academy.
