The 18th annual YMCA Golf Classic will take place on Saturday at the Bogalusa Country Club.

“This is our 18th annual tournament,” YMCA CEO Toni St.Philip said. “I’ve personally been involved in this for 12 years. It’s our biggest fundraiser of the year. This is very important to helping us provide the programs we provide here at the ‘Y.’ I would like to thank those who have sponsored our tournament throughout the years.”

Registration will start at 8 a.m. with tee time set for 9 a.m. and lunch at 11 a.m.

The cost for the two-person scramble is $100 per golfer.

The cost includes cart, green fees, mulligans and lunch. Participants are asked to bring their own cart if they have one.

“One of our board members, (former YMCA CEO) Stuart Parker, has been instrumental in pulling this year’s tournament together,” St. Philip said.

Golfers may drop off registration at the YMCA or mail it to 411 Ave. B, Bogalusa, LA, 70427.
