Ben’s Ford’s Bennett is Overall Defensive MVP

Ben’s Ford Christian School’s Trevor Bennett won a major award in the baseball all-district selection.
Bennett was named the Overall Defensive Most Valuable Player.
This season, Bennett recorded 32 assists and 15 putouts in 56 chances and he helped turn four double plays.
Offensively, he hit .333.
On the mound, Bennett posted 44 strikeouts over 33-1/3 innings.
Bennett is also a first-team all-district player.
Three more Ben’s Ford Christian School players made the first team.
Aaron Forbes, Patrick Easterling and Joseph Williams are all first-team all-district players.
Forbes, who is a catcher, threw out three would-be base stealers and he batted .370.
Patrick Easterling, who plays second base, had a .370 on base percentage.
Defensively, he tallied 22 assists with 17 putouts and three double plays in 43 chances.
Williams pitched 53 innings and recorded 54 strikeouts.
Offensively, he had a .302 on base percentage.
