Mt. Hermon has 3 top-team all-district players

Three Mt. Hermon softball players are first-team all-district players in the 8-B league for the 2022 season.
Pitcher Alexa Bulloch, outfielder Bailey Fortenberry and utility player Alexis Magee are first-team all-district players.
This season, Bulloch posted a .494 on base percentage and a .529 slugging.
Fortenberry had a .430 on base percentage.
Magee tallied a .462 batting average with a .662 slugging percentage.
Three more Mt. Hermon players are on the second team.
Infielders Emily Bulloch and Layla Riley and utility player Alyssa Urban are second-team all-district players.
Bulloch recorded a .269 average with a .406 on base percentage.
Riley had a .338 batting average and a .442 on base.
Urban posted a .274 batting average and a .392 on base percentage.
This season, Mt. Hermon made it to the bi-district round of the playoffs, but was defeated by Forest, 15-4. Forest made it to the regional round.
Besides Alexa Bulloch, the rest of the first-team pitchers are Holden’s Taylor Douglas and Maurepas’ Saydie Sterling.
The catcher is Holden’s Kamrynn Ouber.
Besides Fortenberry, there is one more first-team outfielder in Holden’s Raievah Craddock.
Besides Magee, the utility players are Holden’s Madison McDonald and Maurepas’ Brooklyn Reine.
Moving to the second-team players, the catcher is Maurepas’ Riley Inzienna.
Besides Emily Bulloch and Riley, there are two more infielders in Holden’s Hannah Kennedy and Maurepas’ Belle Winkle.
The second-team outfielders are Holden’s Emma Wilson and Maurepas’ Jordyn Pickrell.
Besides Urban, there is one more utility player in Holden’s Lauren Landrum.
Holden won the state title with a 10-4 win over Acacoco.
Maurepas reached the bi-district round, but was defeated by Fairview, 15-3. Fairview made it to the regionals.
