ESM United Methodist Church

ESM United Methodist Church invites everyone to join Saturday, June 25, for a One-Night Vacation Bible School. The festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. and all ages are invited — young and old. Dinner will be provided. On Sunday, June 26, Sunday school for all ages will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by the worship service at 10:30 a.m. Children meet at 4 p.m. and the youth meet at 5:30 p.m.

St. Paul A.M.E. Church

The St. Paul A.M.E. Church family would like for the public to join in celebrating the church’s annual “Women’s Day Program” on Sunday, June 26, at 3 p.m. The speaker for the event will be Sis. Fachinnia Miller of Union Chapel A.M.E. Church in Kentwood, under the leadership of the Rev. Gary Porter. Come have a good time and hear a word from the Lord.

Forest Haven Missionary Baptist Church

Forest Haven Missionary Baptist Church will be holding revival services Monday, June 27, through Friday, July 1. Services will be at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. daily. Elder Terry Robertson will be the guest evangelist. Elder Richard Magee, pastor, and the church invite everyone to attend.

Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church

• Growing, growing in God’s garden — on Monday, July 11, Wednesday, July 13, and Friday, July 15, from 9 a.m. to noon the young people at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church will be learning about all things plants in this summer’s vacation Bible school, and what it’s like to be planted into God’s family. They will learn three key Bible verses, do cool science experiments, have fun and play games, and more. Come one, come all, going into grades pre-K through sixth this fall. • Children’s Sunday School and Pastor Joe Arthur’s Adult Bible class each begin at 9:15 a.m. Sunday service starts at 10:30 a.m. with Divine Worship celebrating Holy Communion every Sunday, using best practices to avoid coronavirus spread. Kingdom of God Church

• Kingdom of God Church, located at 814 Union Ave. in Bogalusa, will have a “Comedy Night” on Thursday, June 30. There is free entry and the doors open at 7 p.m. The guests include comedians Melvin Patin Jr. and Chris Franklin.
• Kingdom of God Church, located at 814 Union Ave. in Bogalusa, will celebrate its fifth year pastoral anniversary on Friday, July 1, at 7 p.m. The guest speaker will be Bishop Rasby Mason II and the psalmist will be Nokeyia Mearidy. The hosts are Apostle Kendon and Lady Arica Grant. This event will also be livestreamed on Facebook at “The Kingdom of God Church.” For more information, call 985-241-5546.

New Bethel Church

Every week is full of activity at New Bethel Church, located at 737 Ave. F in Bogalusa. Monday at 6:30 p.m. is a Small Group Class on Prayer by Sister Mary. Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. is Wild Ones Youth Night. Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. is a Leadership and Prayer Meeting, and at 6:30 p.m. is Worship and Teaching. Thursday at 6:30 p.m. is Celebrate Recovery. Friday at 6 p.m. is Chosen Movie Night. Saturday at 6 p.m. is Karaoke Night, and Sunday at 11 a.m. is the Sunday Morning Service.

Bogalusa Seventh-day Adventist Church

The Bogalusa Seventh-day Adventist Church, located at 19617 Highway 21 North in Bogalusa, welcomes everyone to come worship with us every Saturday. Our Sabbath school begins at 9:40 a.m. and worship service begins at 11 a.m. We have a fellowship meal following our worship service and everyone is invited to stay.
