District track meets are this week

District track meets for all seven schools in Washington Parish will take place Monday through Thursday.
Those who are in the top four from each event will advance to regionals in LHSAA and South State for MAIS. Bogalusa, Franklinton, Mt. Hermon School, Pine and Varnado are in LHSAA, while Ben’s Ford Christian School and Bowling Green School are in MAIS.
On Monday, Pine and Varnado are headed to Ponchatoula for the District 9-2A Meet.
The next day, Mt. Hermon School will compete in the District 8-B Meet at Christ Episcopal School.
On Wednesday, Bogalusa will go to the District 8-3A Meet at Jewel Sumner, while Franklinton is going to Lakeshore for the District 9-4A competition.
Ben’s Ford and Bowling Green are competing on Thursday. Ben’s Ford is in the 3A4 Meet at Centreville Academy, while Bowling Green will be at Silliman Institute for the 4AAAAA Meet.
