Pine was victorious over Salmen and Independence both by 21-0 finals in three innings in games that were held on Tuesday and Thursday.
Tuesday’s game was against Salmen on the road.
Lily Crain hit a grand slam.
Dillon Sumrall hit an inside-the-park-home run.
Kloie Antentaler tripled.
Alyssa Phelps doubled.
Addyson Phelps, Kirbee Magee, Baleigh Dunn, Bailey Brooks, Katie Crain, Katelyn Hawkins, Addi Nobles and Ana Kate Thomas all had hits.
Sumrall posted five strikeouts.
Thursday’s game was against Independence at home in District 9-2A play.
Brooks homered, drove in five runs and scored three runs in a 2-for-3 game.
Sumrall posted two hits that included a double with two runs batted in and two runs scored.
Dunn singled, drove in two runs and scored three runs.
Addyson Phelps hit a solo inside-the-park homer and scored two runs.
Alyssa Phelps tripled and scored two runs.
Hawkins and Katie Crain both singled, scored a run and drove in one.
Nobles doubled and drove in two.
Thomas singled and scored two runs.
Antentaler singled and scored a run.
Magee singled.
Kori Sumrall scored three runs and Lily Crain scored a run.
Magee pitched a three inning no-hit shutout with seven strikeouts and no walks.
Pine’s next game will be on April against St. Scholastica Academy at home.
