Franklinton’s Demons split a doubleheader against Archbishop Hannan on Saturday.

The Demons came up short in the opener, 3-1.

Tryson Fowler singled and scored a run.

Micah Wascom singled and drove in a run,

Trevor Wise and Tyler Hammond both had a hit.

The next game was a 6-5 win.

Franklinton led 5-0 after two innings and 6-1 through six. Archbishop Hannan scored four times in the seventh, but the Demons hung on for the victory.

Rickey Burkhalter posted a hit and two runs batted in.

Will Turner singled, drove in a run and scored a run.

Banyan Penton and Rickeen Burkhalter both scored a run and drove in a run, while Wise, Nathan Parden and Wascom all scored a run.

Winning pitcher Jacob Tullos allowed a run on six hits with three strikeouts and a walk over five innings.

Franklinton’s next game will be on March 23 on the road against St. Thomas Aquinas.
