Pine’s Raiders defeated Bogalusa, 11-1, in five innings in the season opener at home on Tuesday.

Pine had just four hits, but drew 21 walks.

Bryson Thomas singled, scored a run and drove in three.

Clint Miley doubled and drove in two runs.

Chase Cooper tallied a hit, three RBIs and a run scored.

Chris Strahan singled and scored two runs.

Aden Wiggins scored three runs, while John Wiggins tallied two runs, Brandon Sprehe scored a run and drove in two, Drew Knight posted a run scored.

Cooper was the winning pitcher. He threw 4-2/3 shutout innings, allowing two hits with 11 strikeouts and no walks.

For Bogalusa, Tajdryn Forbes singled and drove in a run.

Talike Williams had a hit and a run scored.
