Pine’s Lady Raiders were defeated by Jonesboro-Hodge, 61-41, in the bi-district round of the Class 2A state playoffs on the road Thursday.

No. 16 Jonesboro-Hodge  (14-14) went to the regional round, but was defeated by top-seeded Amite (29-2), 101-34.

Amite will play ninth-seeded West St. Mary (21-9) in the quarterfinals.

Pine, the 17th-seeded team, posted a 14-9 record this year.
