Franklinton’s Lady Demons were defeated by Northlake Christian School and De La Salle in the Northlake Christian School softball tournament that was held on Saturday and won against Mt. Hermon School on Monday.

The first game was a 13-3 loss to Northlake Christian School in five innings.

K.K. Schexnider went 2-for-3 with a run batted in.

Aayah Faour doubled, drove in a run and scored a run.

Caylin Turnage and Raynna Schillings both singled and scored a run.

Skylar Branch and Audrey Carter both recorded a hit.

The next game was a 16-6 loss to De La Salle.

Branch homered, drove in two and scored a run.

Schillings singled, tripled and had two RBIs.

Turnage and Ashley Smith singled twice and scored a run.

Faour went 2-for-4.

Shyanne Burris doubled and scored a run.

Schexnider tallied a hit and a run scored.

Carter scored a run.

Franklinton played on Monday and topped Mt. Hermon School, 18-15, on the road.

Franklinton led 17-5, going into the bottom of the sixth, but Mt. Hermon put up 10 runs to trim the lead to just two. Franklinton added one more run in the seventh for the 18-15 win.

The teams combined for 40 hits.

Franklinton had 24 hits, led by Schexnider, who went 5-for-6 with two doubles, two RBIs and four runs scored.

Schillings went 4-for-4 with two runs batted in and four runs scored.

Faour tallied three hits that included a double, a triple, two RBIs and two runs scored.

Branch had three hits, including a double, two RBIs and three runs scored.

Kaleigh Provost singled three times, drove in two runs and scored a run.

Branch tallied three hits, two RBIs and three runs scored.

Burris singled, doubled and drove in three runs.

Smith singled, scored a run and drove in a run.

Carter singled a scored a run.

Mt. Hermon posted 16 hits.

Layla Riley and Emily Bullock both had three hits that included a double, a run batted in and two runs scored.

Katherine Quin posted two hits that included a double, four RBIs and a run scored.

Jadyn Stafford tallied two doubles, two RBIs and three runs scored.

Alexa Bulloch had two hits that included a double, two runs batted in and two runs scored.

Alexis Magee singled twice and scored two runs.

Bailey Magee posted a hit, two runs driven in and a run scored.

Alyssa Urban singled and scored a run.

Kenzie Tetreau scored a run.

Franklinton’s next game will take place on Feb. 22 against Doyle on the road.

Mt. Hermon School’s next game will be held on Feb. 22 against Pope John Paul II on the road.
