ULM’s Keith Robinson and Arkansas State’s Carter Shell each recorded personal-best marks to close out the indoor regular season and have been named Sun Belt Conference Men’s Track & Field Athletes of the Week.
Men’s Track Athlete of the Week
Keith Robinson, ULM
(Sr., Sprints, Brookhaven, Miss.)
Warhawks’ senior sprinter Keith Robinson set a personal-best in the 60 meters at 6.77 seconds to place second at the Bulldog Open at Samford last Saturday. Robinson’s 6.77 time ranks second in the Sun Belt Conference this season.
Men’s Field Athlete of the Week
Carter Shell, Arkansas State

Red Wolves’ senior jumper Carter Shell continued his stellar indoor season, finishing as the top collegian in the men’s long jump at the Music City Challenge with an indoor-best leap of 7.72m/25-4.0. His mark ranks 17th in the NCAA and was the fifth-best mark among collegians this week. Shell currently leads the league by 18 centimeters (7 inches).
