Pine hosting jamboree on Friday

Several local teams will unofficially open their baseball season on Friday at the 2022 Parish Jamboree that will be held at Pine High School.
Five games are scheduled to take place, starting at 3 p.m. and the last one beginning at 7 p.m.
The event will open with a contest between Pine and Franklinton.
The 4 p.m. contest is a junior varsity game between Pine and Franklinton.
Bogalusa will play in the next two games, as the Lumberjacks will play Franklinton at 5 p.m. and Varnado at 6 p.m.
The final game will feature Pine and Varnado at 7 p.m.
The contests will all last three innings.
The teams will begin their regular seasons next week.
Varnado will play Mt. Hermon on Monday at Mt. Hermon School.
Pine and Bogalusa will play each other on Tuesday at Pine.
Franklinton will be on the road Tuesday going against Albany.
